All of us at Sun State Ford are proud to call the beautiful city of Orlando, FL home, and not just for its breathtaking lake views and balmy, year-round weather (though those do sweeten the deal). Orlando offers exciting events, unique locales, and historic experiences for residents and guests alike to enjoy.

You’ll never run out of things to do and places to see here in our town. Here’s just a taste of some of our favorite things to do, see, and never forget in Orlando:

First things first, Orlando is known around the world for its top-tier theme parks. Here, you can check out Disney’s timeless Magic Kingdom or visit the spellbinding Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort (we strongly suggest you sample the butter beer). And don’t forget to take the family to LEGOLAND Florida, Discovery Cove, Epcot, or any of the other amazing, family-focused theme parks in the Orlando area! Orlando has 7 different major amusement parks in addition to countless exhibits and events to see at each!

Orlando is known for its theme parks, but if massive theme parks aren’t quite your style, have no fear - Orlando has other attractions that are surely right up your alley. Nothing gives you a more authentic wild-Florida feel than Gatorland, where you can zoom down zip lines, pose with live gators, and enjoy all the land’s natural beauty. Or, for the indoorsy soul who’d still like an adventure, check out the world-famous Madame Tussauds wax museum, full of strange, life-like sculptures of every celebrity you’ve ever wanted to meet! You can fool your friend into thinking you’ve actually met a celebrity with how realistic these sculpture are!

Madame Tussads isn’t the only museum in Orlando, though it might be strangest; for the artistic soul, Orlando offers an array of art museums and theaters; and for the history buff, there’s more than one great history museum right here in the city, including a fun “Pioneer Village” for the kids. So don’t miss out on the chance to see some history and culture of Orlando.

We want to stress that Orlando isn’t just a town for tourism - there’s more to our city than awesome roller coasters and out-of-this-world nature parks (though we have a lot of both). Orlando is a great city through and through, from its dedication to ecological conservation and the beautification of public spaces to its variety of local restaurants, businesses, and events that continue to make Orlando the unique hometown it is today. Not to mention everything that goes on in Downtown Orlando!

Everyone here at Sun State Ford agrees - there’s no reason not to love Orlando, Florida! With so many things to see and do, it might be hard to pick your favorite, but tell us anyways what you enjoy most in this lively city!
